The Matterhorn is the dream of every alpinist. This is finally to be realised! It is recommended to do an acclimatisation tour beforehand.

day 1
Individual arrival and ascent to the Hörnlihütte (3260 m): from Zermatt 1650 m approx. 5 hours or from the Schwarzsee cable car station 710 m approx. 2.5 hours.

day 2
From the Hörnli hut via the Hörnli ridge in 1220 m to the summit and back. Total time approx. 8 hours.

Bookable dates:
on request, from mid-July to mid-September

Service:
Organisation and guidance by a state-certified mountain guide (IVBV)

Requirements:
- Sure-footedness, a head for heights and fitness.
- Safe and fast walking and climbing with crampons, difficulty AD or UIAA 3+/4-

Additional expenses:
Hut expenses for you and the mountain guide

Participants and price:
1 participant per person 1450,- € without additional expenses

Equipment:
Mountain boots crampon-proof (it must be possible to fit the toggle lever on the heel), harness, helmet, lamp, crampons, ice axe, 1 screw carabiner, thin, thick gloves, usual mountain gear and hut necessities, hut sleeping bag
