I have been climbing, mountaineering and ski touring in the Alps since 1984. In 1992 I became a climbing trainer with the German Alpine Association (DAV), in 2008 I became an instructor with the Austrian Alpine Association (ÖAV), in 2015 I became an "istruttore-allenatore" with FASI-CONI Italia and in 2017 I passed the mountain guide licence exam with the Association of South Tyrolean Mountain Guides.
My sporting achievements range from difficult north faces (such as Eiger north face Heckmair - TD-, Bumillerpfeiler Piz Palü, Grand Jorasse etc.) to equally difficult alpine routes on the north faces of the Dreizinnen (e.g. "Schweizer Führe (7b ), Hasse-Brandler, Sciatoli") to sport climbing in the 8a range.
I also studied surveying in Munich (graduating in 1998) and have been running an engineering office since 2001.
I also have a lot of fun with my four children, who are now also climbing instructors!
